The Foundation is always interested in hearing about local charities and initiatives in the area which provide valuable support to the community – either financially, through advice or by way of volunteer work. Frequently Asked Questions
We are happy to receive applications from a wide range of businesses, charities and individuals who have a connection to the area. Our key criteria is as follows:
- The application has a local connection to the Bayswater or Lancaster Gate area.
- The application is community focused and in particular will support young people.
- Support from the Whiteley Community Foundation is a final attempt to secure funding after alternative sources have been explored.
We do not have a specific range for funding. Each application will be considered based on the benefit the funding will provide to the residents of the area.
We will consider applications at the first Whiteley Community Foundation committee meeting following the receipt of an application. Meetings take place every two months.
We ask applicants to fill out the application form here. We will present the information to the committee. In the case that the committee would like further clarification before making a decision, we will ask you for this information before putting the application back to the committee.
