The Whiteley Community Foundation

The Whiteley Community Foundation is a cross-body charitable trust made up of representatives from The Whiteley Project, Westminster City Council and local residents’ associations. We are looking to make a positive contribution to the local area by delivering and supporting local projects. We are pleased to share some of our recent and ongoing work with you here.
The Foundation is always interested in hearing about local charities and initiatives in the area which provide valuable support to the community. We aim to help these projects either financially, through advice or by way of volunteer work. Please do get in touch using the details below should you know of such an organisation or individual.

If you are a charity or business in the Bayswater and Lancaster Gate area, we can support your future plans to help the community.

ABOUT THE WHITELEY

Community Foundation-Whiteley
The modern Whiteley

The redevelopment of the iconic Whiteley department store, originally built by William Whiteley in 1911, will breathe radical new life into this much loved architectural gem.

The project will provide new homes, the UK’s first Six Senses hotel, and choice restaurants and retailers.

Community is at the heart of our vision for the Whiteley, which is designed to benefit existing and future residents of Bayswater.

The foundation is a key aspect of contributing to our local community. By supporting the excellent local businesses, charities and talented individuals, we can ensure everyone can benefit.

You can read more about the Whiteley redevelopment here.
